On the repetition of things in life
As we all know life can be quite repetitive, we labor everyday to pay our living and live the life we think we want, we see the same people, whether we like them or not is a different topic, we take the same route to get to work; and we eat the same old food to keep in shape. One day your mind strikes differently and you don’t wanna do those things you do over and over again. At first you feel like you’re being a child by thinking about how you’re living your life.
I think it’s part of the problem but not entirely the case. I think there something very different at work here. It’s not that you get tired of what you’re doing everyday, it’s that the mind doesn’t like the same outlook you put it through everyday so it want something different after a while. Now the question arrives what can be done about it? It may feel like you’re just going to do the same thing over and over again your entire life and the thought may burst another bubble, filled with paint that’s hard to clean, of anxiety. What should one do when this happens? Not clean the paint? Not think about it? Or just entirely forget that it’s even there? I think most of us find that hard to do in our daily lives when the paint is splattered on every wall, face, road, thing we look at.
I think the best way to deal with it is give yourself time and your thoughts. Having some time dedicated to them can be helpful, but it can also be overwhelming. I find that letting them stew and then eventually eating it per say, helps me clean the paint. It will be painful at first to deal with, but if we put it at the back of our head and get busy with something else you eventually bump into something that helps you deal with the paint.
Now another question arises after this, when can we expect the bubbles to disappear? The short answer to this is that they may never disappear, as currently I’m in early years of my life, and still finding out that I need lot more practice in this area of life. As unexpected can happen any time in your life, it’s more about learning how to deal with these situation and move on however long it may take.
To summarize, life may feel mundane, repetitive, boring at times but it will get better one day. It may not be instant, it could take up to years and one day you will look back at your early day and think about how those days were far better than you ever gave them a thought. You only get one life, enjoy it, and live it the way to want to live.
